Since early 2024, I’ve been studying floral design through the Ohara School of Ikebana, Oregon Chapter, under the instruction of Carolyn Alter, Certified Associate First Term Master. I have completed the Advanced Level and am currently enrolled in the Assistant Teacher’s First Term Course, where I’m deepening my understanding of seasonal expression, asymmetry, and the emotional resonance of floral arrangement.
